Electric Moons, a Post-Conversation Supper Club
Come for the talk with historian India Mandelkern x FORT: LA and stay to discuss with us over supper by Chef Michael Turk (RAW on Romaine, Botanica).
The Wolford House and FORT:LA will present Electric Moons, a Conversation with Author India Mandelkern. In Electric Moons, India Mandelkern examines the art and politics of street lighting in Los Angeles from the 1880s to the present day. Flitting between social history, cultural anthropology, urban studies, and the history of design, she illustrates how street lighting helped frame larger debates about civics and survey.
Join us for a four-course dinner high in the hills of Mount Washington. Through our menu — and tablescape design, we’ll pay homage to the social history of street lighting across the storied city Los Angeles.
04.17 | Conversation 6pm | Supper Club 7-10pm | Seating is limited | non-refundable | photography: Tom Bertolotti
